1. Scope

Company-controlled internal use

This Privacy Policy explains how MAGIC GROUP accesses, uses, stores, protects and deletes information in connection with the MAGIC GROUP Keyword Research Tool.

The tool is a company-controlled internal utility used only for websites and product brands owned and operated by MAGIC GROUP. It is not offered to the public or to external clients.

2. Information accessed through Google APIs

Aggregate planning and technical request data

  • Google Ads customer and manager account identifiers required to authenticate and route authorized requests;
  • keyword ideas generated from company-approved seed phrases;
  • aggregate average monthly search volumes;
  • aggregate monthly search-volume history;
  • aggregate advertising competition levels and competition indices;
  • aggregate low and high top-of-page bid ranges;
  • country, language and Google Search network settings associated with a keyword-planning request;
  • technical request identifiers and error information required for troubleshooting.

The tool does not use Google Ads API to collect individual search histories, email content, contacts, personal profiles, audience lists, Customer Match information, conversion records or remarketing data.

3. How information is used

Internal planning and audit purposes only

  • conduct internal keyword and market research;
  • prepare internal SEO and website-content plans;
  • support manual Google Search campaign planning;
  • compare aggregate demand across approved countries and languages;
  • review the quality and relevance of proposed keywords;
  • diagnose failed or incomplete API requests;
  • maintain an internal audit trail for research datasets.

The tool does not make automated advertising purchases or automatically publish website content.

4. Data storage and retention

Restricted storage and annual review

Keyword-planning exports may be stored in restricted company-controlled folders as CSV or XLSX files. Access is limited to authorized personnel and approved contractors with a legitimate business need.

Exports are retained only for active planning, comparison and audit purposes. Stored research data is reviewed at least annually and deleted when it is no longer required for those purposes.

Developer Tokens, service-account keys and other authentication credentials are stored separately from research exports and are not embedded in public source code, website files or downloadable reports.

5. Sharing and disclosure

Limited disclosure under strict need

MAGIC GROUP does not sell, rent, resell, syndicate or commercially distribute information received through Google APIs.

Access may be provided only to:

  • authorized MAGIC GROUP employees;
  • approved contractors working for MAGIC GROUP under confidentiality and access-control obligations;
  • technology providers strictly necessary to operate company-controlled infrastructure;
  • government or legal authorities when disclosure is required by applicable law.

The tool is not used to manage advertising accounts for unrelated third parties.

6. Data security

Reasonable administrative and technical controls

MAGIC GROUP uses reasonable administrative and technical controls designed to protect information handled by the tool. These controls include:

  • restricted company-user access;
  • least-privilege access to Google Ads accounts;
  • separation of credentials from application source code and research exports;
  • service-account access controls;
  • logging that excludes secret credential values;
  • removal of access when it is no longer required.

No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. MAGIC GROUP will review and respond to identified security issues in accordance with its internal procedures and applicable legal requirements.

7. Google API Services User Data Policy

Limited Use adherence

MAGIC GROUP's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. User choices and requests

No public user profiles

Because the tool is an internal business utility and does not provide public user accounts, members of the public do not create profiles or submit personal data through the tool.

Questions about this policy, access controls or deletion of information should be sent to [email protected].

9. Changes to this policy

Policy updates

MAGIC GROUP may update this Privacy Policy when the tool, applicable law or Google API requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.
